Faculty

PS#1 is committed to providing challenging, developmentally appropriate, engaging curriculum for its students. To provide this curriculum, we employ 14 lead teachers, with two highly qualified teachers in each of seven multi-age classrooms. Five full-time specialists work with the students in the areas of Physical Education, Music and Drama, Art, and Library.

Together, our teachers average 12 years of teaching experience each, seven and a half of those years here at PS#1. 65% have earned advanced degrees.
