Faculty

PS1 is committed to providing challenging, developmentally appropriate, engaging curriculum for its students. To provide this curriculum, we employ 16 lead teachers, with two highly qualified teachers in each of eighth multi-age classrooms. Five full-time specialists work with the students in the areas of Physical Education, Music and Drama, Art, and Library.

Together, our teachers average 12 years of teaching experience each, seven and a half of those years here at PS1. 65% have earned advanced degrees.
