Once inside the 12th Street Gate, visitors to our Fall Festival were dwarfed by the generous mound of donated books destined for our PAL neighbors. From 2:00-5:00 PM on Saturday, October 15, our yard was transformed into a seasonal adventure land where one could construct a tower, design a wind-propelled aircraft, sing with a quartet in karaoke ... and brave the ghouls and goblins of the dreaded Haunted House. At every corner there were tables of tasty treats including a fresh fruit cornucopia and homemade dessert buffet.
