Olders Students Explore the Role of the Press in Shaping Public Opinion

Starting with a study of the US government, students took an in-depth look at the Constitution and the responsibilities of and relationships between the branches of government. Students investigated, researched, and synthesized their findings as they constructed these infographics to share their knowledge.
The entire Olders Cluster joined together during this study, with each student joining a small group made up of peers from both Olders classes, and then rotating through a series of lessons with each of the four Olders teachers. Beyond giving students an opportunity to connect with peers and teachers, this experience gives them a brief taste of the Middle School experiences that await them, as they rotate between different teachers and classrooms.
