Application & Forms

To be eligible to enroll, a student must be at least 5 years old by December 1.

We have passed the priority date of December 13, 2019, to apply for the 2020-2021 school year that assures enough to process applications fully. We may still be able to process your application if you wish to apply now (see link below). Please contact our Admissions Office at (310) 394-1313 ext. 107. We’re here to help!

After December 13, we will make every attempt to schedule the required appointments (Parent Interview and Child Visit appointments) in order to consider your child.

A non-refundable application fee of $125 must be submitted with your application form. An application fee reduction is available if you intend to apply for Financial Aid. Please contact Evelyn Cazún at (310) 394-1313 ext. 107 or for more information. Teacher evaluation forms (and transcripts) are required.

Please Note: There are two different forms: one for students in preschool, the other for students already in elementary school.

When applying to PS1, you may send additional assessments/reports from professionals who have worked with, are working with, or assessed your child to PS1 for the Admissions Committee to consider. Those assessments/reports may be sent directly to the Director of Admissions by emailing All information a family shares with PS1 through the admissions process is kept strictly confidential.
