Themed activities and games bring the PS1 community together. There is something for everyone at the Family Fall Festival.

Circle Time

Select Fridays
9:00-10:00 a.m.

Circle Times are our tradition of the all-school gathering which serves to "pass on the culture of the school," and are opportunities to come together as a whole to share in music, songs, dramatic play, and performance. Participating in Circle Time is an important part of a student's education in developing public speaking skills and an appreciation for the performing arts. Original class and cluster performances showcase the curricular learning.

Parent Education

PS1 hosts guest speakers and seminars that typically relate to parenting and child development throughout the year. Our mission is to provide a respectful, supportive environment in which parents may gather and share challenges and strategies for raising children in the presence of a trained processional. PS1 is a member of Common Sense Media (CSM) and we will be inviting parents to several speaking engagements throughout the year sponsored by CSM.
